Volunteers are critical in helping Elk River Girls Soccer reach their goals for a memorable season for our athletes. Not only that, but when you donate your time and skills to a booster club or an event, you are helping the students and school succeed.

We encourage each family to complete 3 Dibs credits (per family, not per child) during the season. Most credits are a game event or a season coordinator. Some Dibs are worth more than others. Some Dibs are for specific needs for the program and may not be an event.

Families are responsible for monitoring their email or checking the Dibs page for available shifts regularly.

Q:  What does "Dibs" mean?
A:  Dibs is a page on our website that manages all of our volunteer sessions.  In order to volunteer you must as a registered member of the site go to this page and get Dibs on the open volunteer sessions before they are taken by someone else.

Q: Where does the money go?
A: The booster club is made of all volunteers. There are no salaries nor is any member paid for their services. All of the dollars go toward enhancing the Elk River Girls Soccer program wherever possible as a non-profit organization supporting the high school athletic program. The High School provides general coaching, fields, and field equipment. The Booster Club supports the Elk River Girls Soccer teams in other ways: 

• Supplemental coach salaries (outside school paid head coaches),
• Uniforms, tryout shirts, motto shirts, alumni shirts,
• Assist with bussing costs for out of town games,
• Provide snacks for away games,
• Host an annual banquet, coach/player meal as well as any awards, photography, decorations, etc,
• Cover costs for Parents Day, Youth Day, Senior Day, Faculty Day and gifts,
• Varsity Team banner for the ERHS commons area,
• Senior banners
• Sponsor banners and other printed programs,
• And much more.

We support our student athletes and make a memorable season for them. It is our mission to boost the program any way we can.
