Volunteers are critical because they help Elk River Girls Soccer reach their goals and have a memorable season. Not only that, but when you donate your time and skills to a booster club or an event, you are helping the students and school succeed.
Each family is required to complete 3 Dibs credits per family (not per child) during the season. Most shifts are 2-4 hours. Some Dibs are worth more than others.
Families are responsible for monitoring your email or checking the Dibs page for available shifts regularly.
If you have questions regarding Dibs, email Kersti Demar at email@example.com
The Booster Club also requires a volunteer check in lieu of volunteering to help fund the season. During registration, each family will provide a Volunteer check of $200.00.
VOLUNTEER FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: What does "Dibs" mean?
A: Dibs is a page on our website that manages all of our volunteer sessions. In order to volunteer you must as a registered member of the site go to this page and get Dibs on the open volunteer sessions before they are taken by someone else.
Q: What money does the ERHS Booster Club-Girls Soccer collect?
A: During your registration process, your credit card will be charged $125.00 per player or family (if more than one player) and any processing fees. In addition, we will collect a check for $200 for volunteering during the season. You may choose to volunteer your time or if you prefer to not volunteer, we will just cash the check instead.
Q: Where does the money go?
A: The booster club is made of all volunteers. There are no salaries nor is any member paid for their services. All of the dollars go toward enhancing the Elk River Girls Soccer program wherever possible. The Booster Club supports the Elk River Girls Soccer teams in many ways.
And whatever else we can do to support our girls and make a memorable season for them.
